I reinterpreted the ugly duckling from my view. After finishing drawing, I was eager to see the result of work.
The little duck is going fishing. He looks not ugly anymore. Does he?

For people in the modern world, morning refers to the time from when you wake up to when you begin work. Although the bulk of the time is spent doing mechanical technical, automated and limited activities, just like anything else in the world, there are different vintage points to one phenomenon.
The romanticists recommend ‘Morning, the starting point of a day’, which gives a clear analysis of the morning time to beginners and ‘Morning, five minutes for a happier life’ for professionals which takes a more macro view. Documentary DVDs such as ‘Breakfast and happy day’ have also been very popular among the younger segment – or that is what they argue.
The skeptic circle, on the other hand, completely denies this - they are even speculating that the DVD mentioned above was bundled with cereal boxes for kids – and recommends the classic ‘Going to work? Go to hell’ as a must-read to the absent-minded people of today. They also issued a statement avidly supporting the recently launched movie ‘Hangover, heartburn and credit card receipt’, praising how aptly the work illustrates the pathos of morning.
In this tense conflict that can be compared to the Soviet Union and the U.S. during the cold era, the Unification circle is throwing shocking waves throughout. Their simple slogan - ‘weekend breakfast’ – is sending small but strong wave in the two circles.
The romanticists published ‘Theory of depression’, an excellent work describing how one becomes depressed from the morning of Sunday thinking that tomorrow is Monday, while the skeptic circle’s paper of ‘Occasionally idle morning’ that says ‘Isn’t Saturday morning still pleasant’, sparking a fierce debate. (In particular, the reaction from the hawkers, the weekend workers, is known to have been especially fierce.)
However, the dominant view is that the analysis by Unification doesn’t deserve serious attention because it fails to catch the essence as it is exposed to a very limited situation. As such, there is still a long way to go before establishing a ‘Unified Theory of Morning’, but we still have hopes as signs of convergence are being witnessed, especially among the younger scholars.
I’ve received THE cutest gift! It’s a WB500(HZ10w) Miniature sent from a friend who is really into cameras. The miniature sized 3CM in width and 1.5CM in length is probably the smallest camera in the world. It’s made of clay so it is very firm and doesn’t break even when you throw it. It would be a miracle if the camera actually worked, but too bad that it doesn’t.
Because the camera was too precious for only me to enjoy, I went out to a busy street. People showed various reactions to the miniature camera and I had a fun time. The European guy holding up the camera as if it were a real thing. He was taking a quick rest from his long travelling. He smiled awkwardly saying that he mistook the camera for a chocolate when he first saw it. Oh well…

Russian friend who tried to use the camera as necklace and earring saying that it looked like an accessory. If I had a string, I surely have given it to her as a present.
My friend and I sat down at a restaurant for a short escape from the heat. And how busy I was trying to capture the small cute WB500 Miniature with my camera! I dropped it on the salad, on the ice to let it cool and even pretended to lift it up with a fork! But.. it’s not for eating…

Although the camera isn’t real, Ca’em carefully takes care of it. Eagerly looking forward to the next camera series, I will wrap up the camera with a dehumidifying agent and newspaper for long storage. The unexpected output of imagination enabled me to build pleasant memories with many people. Since I’ve seen the miniature version, what about venturing out a little bit more and build one that is 100X its original size and bigger than human beings? And 100X larger size photo to boot? Let me leave you now for some more wishful imagination~ :]

Delivering twice the fun of any other compact digital camera, Samsung’s innovative ST550(TL225) and ST500(TL220) truly put the photographer in the picture. The ST550(TL225) and ST500(TL220) feature Dual LCDs with one on the front of the camera and another one on the back. Embracing the latest consumer trends, Samsung’s new ST1000(CL65) provides unprecedented connectivity as it incorporates geo-tagging, Bluetooth 2.0, DLNA, Wi-Fi* connectivity and DLNA compatibility, giving social networkers the ability to share their images while on the move and breaking the confines of uploading and sharing content in the traditional way.

Samsung ST550(TL225) and ST500(TL220)
The Samsung ST550(TL225) and ST500(TL220) bring the latest in compact camera innovation to consumers with Dual LCD screens on the front and back, offering twice the fun of any camera and allowing the user to take photographs they simply couldn’t take before. The growing popularity of social networking sites has given rise to the self-portrait or profile picture with many consumers turning their digital camera on themselves to become the subject of their photo.
The 1.5” LCD now on the front of the ST550(TL225) and ST500(TL220) allows consumers to take these self-portraits and profile pictures with ease, showing the user exactly what the picture will look like, enabling the desired result every time. Incorporating a 3.5” wide, 1,152K resolution touch-screen LCD, the ST550(TL225) delivers one of the highest resolution screens available on a digital camera. Complementing this is a 12.2 mega-pixel CCD and 27mm wide-angle Schneider KREIZNACH lens with 4.6x optical zoom, allowing a wider shooting range from a shorter distance, and producing clear, clean images with balanced resolution from the center of the image to the edges.
Another innovation found on the ST550(TL225) and ST500(TL220) is Samsung’s new powerful Smart Gesture User Interface (UI) with a built-in Gravity sensor. Once the camera is on, a simple tap on the front LCD turns it on and the camera is automatically set into self portrait mode with smile detection. This means if users want to take a self portrait, they only need to tap and smile and the picture will be taken automatically. Samsung ST1000(CL65)
With the ability to capture and share photo memories on the move, the Samsung ST1000(CL65) allows users to truly connect with family and friends. Packed full of innovation and encased in a sleek compact frame, the ST1000(CL65) incorporates an unprecedented combination of geo-tagging technology, Bluetooth 2.0, DLNA compatibility, and Wi-Fi connectivity options.
The camera’s wireless functionality enables users to send and post pictures almost as quickly as they take them, while its GPS capabilities keep track of where users travel, giving them the ability to manage their images intelligently with geographical location data embedded directly into each corresponding EXIF file. With the increasing importance of content sharing for consumers, the ST1000(CL65) provides an unrivalled experience and is a great way to keep one’s network of friends and family in the know.
The ST1000(CL65)’s built-in geo-tagging allows users to record the details of the location and time the image was taken. The subject of today’s class was tarte. To make a delicious pie crust, our teacher put in the same portion of cake flour and butter so I had a really tough time fitting the pie crust into the tarte mold.
The crust was so loose that I had to sprinkle huge amount of flour to prevent it from sticking to the board, and eventually the tarte ended up becoming hard. I wouldn’t have gone through so much trouble if I had added enough flour in the first place!
This chocolate tarte is the finished product after all that fuss. It’s sprinkled heavily with cocoa powder so when you bite into it, the cocoa powder gets all on your teeth but it was so sweet and delicious.

This is a banana walnut tarte. It’s filled with banana boiled down in caramel syrup and decorated with walnuts on top. It’s so~~ good.

This is cream puffs pie. On the edge of the pie crust, I’ve squeezed out the choux paste, filled it with custard and topped it with whipped cream. The savoriness of the pie and the cream puffs and the sweetness of the cream make a fabulous combination and it was so delicious!

This is the mini version of the cream puffs pie made with leftover crust. They look like spaceships, don’t you think? :) In Japan, people buy lot more of the individual pieces as to a whole cake.

I’ve made a simple cake in a long time. It’s layered with whipped cream and chocolate cream between the sponges and then the surface is coated with caramel. It’s simple to make but totally delicious.

This is a blueberry cake with lots of blueberry jam in it.
On the bottom layer are apples boiled down in sugar so it’s refreshing and delicious.

This is a chocolate cake made with using the same sponge as the one above but layered with different cream. It wasn’t easy to spread a thin layer of cream on each layer but definitely worth the effort.

It specializes in tendon (shortened word for tempura donburi) and it’s absolutely delicious. It’s so good that I would recommend tendon over sushi to foreign tourists.
The music you are listening to is the worst. Believe me, it’s the sound from hell – although I haven’t been there.
What about the movies you like! I won’t say they are the worst. Let me just say that it’s second to my uncle’s wedding video that I’ve watched over 20 times. (Still, your movie was the worst up to the 15th rerun of the video)
And your clothes? Why don’t you wear a box or look through a trash can instead? You surely can find something better than that!
Of your favorite food, the only one that I managed to swallow was that pizza topped with mayonnaise and mustard. I even thought about writing an anonymous article to a newspaper but I didn’t.
And the magazines you read. True, I appreciated that fact that you did any reading. Until I realized what kind of magazines they were! If I become a dictator, the first person to be put on death penalty will be the CEO of the magazine company. Of course, you wouldn’t be safe either, being a subscriber.
