My new compact digital camera daily, Samsung ST10

Are you enjoying pleasant spring days? Still, it s too cold, though. Friends from Jeju islans say that they already went on a picnic to enjoy beautiful spring flowers. When I think about spring picnic and flowers, I get so excited. Today, I d like to introduce my new little digital camera, Samsung ST10. These days, lots of cameras are released from Samsung. I ve been a digital camera user for 8 years since 2001. Lots of compact and DSLR cameras have gone by me, and now I m using 400D and D300. Frankly speaking, my recognition of Samsung cameras wasn t that good. (Sorry to Samsung users) So when I got the call about WB500 promotion wasn t so appealing for me. But actually, Samsung cameras have evolved a lot. The honest review of WB500 users has enlightened me about the new Samsung digital cameras.

I needed a small and smart compact digital camera. Carrying DSLR makes my shoulder to suffer. So sometimes I leave it at home, and then I feel so sorry if got to visit a desert café with pretty and delicious deserts that day. No matter how light dslr could be, it still can t be as portable as compact cameras. So I ve been looking to find a good sub-camera, and got the chance to use the small and smart Samsung ST10 before its release.

From today, I ll spend a month with this cute compact digital camera that is slim, light, and girly.

Mine has shiny silver body. It will come out in 4 colors of magenta red, black, gold, and silver. On the orientation on Saturday, red was the most popular color. I ve got the red, but I exchanged it for silver. Well, it s my personal taste.

The round lens cap on the silver shines like a mirror, and the back side is neat white. Now it reflects the painting on the wall, so it looks like a red glow.

Charging USB cable and AC adapter. When you transfer photos to your pc, you can connect this USB cable.

AV cable and earphone. AV cable is used when you connect TV and camera, and earphone is for PMP and MP3..

Shot of Additional contents. There s manual and software CD. It is not released yet, so they re in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, etc. But without this manual, you can sill get used to the all the functions in one day. If I can do it, everyone can. The biggest strength of auto digital cameras is that anyone –beginners or – can use it conveniently. This newly releasing Samsung digital camera is differentiating itself by Haptic touch screen. You can control every menu by touching the LCD like Haptic phone. At first, I didn t see the point of this, but I got used to it in a day, and now I feel like taking a picture is like a playing a game.

I took a picture of it with my last compact digital camera. It is an old one from C- brand, and now it s too heavy to be called compact . Its nickname is brick. I used to choose dlsr over this one, because it s too heavy. With my light ST10 that fits right into my pocket, I feel so good now.

From now on, I ll show you pictures that I took with ST10. Yesterday, I didn t get the functions completely yet, so I just shot under basic mode..

Since it s a ultra-light slim digital camera, grip feeling is not that good. And it s easily shaken in dark indoor settings. But it could be partly solved by one of ST10 s functions, ISO and exposure control.

Now I m finishing the brief introduction of my new toy. Thank you for seeing my pictures. Even if you don t need a digital camera right away, looking into new digital cameras help you in the future purchase.
