I ve got my new digital camera a few days ago. It s Haptic ST10, which is not released in a market yet. It s only offered to a few people who got selected. Actually I m using DSLR, but I wanted to give this one to my father as a birthday gift. And I fortunately got the chance. :D For the four weeks from now, I will take lots of pictures with this one. I m planning to let my father know the good user s tips later.
I was so excited to open the box. I heard that the color is selected randomly out of red, black, silver, and white. I wanted a black one, but a silver one came. Black is my type, but it s for my father, and silver might be better for him.
I hung the leather strap and put in the memory card and the battery.
One of the things that I like is that it has a touch screen. Without pressing other buttons, you just need to click the menu you want with a touch pen. I think my father, who is not used to operating digital cameras, will be able to use it easily..
There are compositions like an adapter which can be multi-used as a USB cable, and A/V cable, and earphone. Also, it can work as an MP3 and PMP. So I thought about keeping it for myself for a moment.
There is a software installation CD-ROM and manual translated into 7 langauges.
The slim body looks very modern. Even if you own a DSLR, there re times you feel like going out lightly with a compact camera. You know, how heavy DSLRs are. They often hurt your arms or shoulders. It happens to me frequently these days.
The thing that I like the most is a lens cover that is like a mirror. I took a picture of it with some of my travel & vintage stamps. The stamps look so well on lens cover.
With this new camera, I feel like taking pictures of everything.
Looking at the camera and reflecting the happy day, I suddenly want to go on a trip. I ve gone thorough a couple of tough months, and I really wanted to go on a picnic when it gets warmer. Pretty soon, I might get away with this Haptic digital camera just leaving every work behind.
