[Part 8] Tommy & Tiky : Intelli-Studio

If it’s a perfect film, it’s impossible to not have sound.
Click ‘Insert Sound’ on your left menu, then click ‘Find File’ to select a sound file.

 

Remind yourself that Intelli-studio only supports either ‘mp3’ or ‘wma’ sound files.
Then you can see the file that you selected. Click ‘Apply’.

 

Selected file appears on sound track and goes into the ‘Timeline Mode’ automatically.

 

Move mouse cursor on the end of the file to adjust length of the sound. Mouse cursor is going to change into the arrow figure. Click and drag the file to adjust the length.

 

You can control the place when you click and drag the middle part of the file.

Ok. Now you’ve made plausible movie like this. Don’t forget to save it!
This is the ‘Save’ button.

 

You can select the saving form from those three methods.

 

Let’s take a look from the top.

 

1. Save As General Movie Format
You can save as ‘mp4’, ‘wmv’, or the format for iPod so you can also watch from general PC.
When the window pops up, select ‘File Type’, ‘Resolution’, and ‘Quality’ and click ‘Convert’. Then you are done with producing movie. (If you want resolution of HD level, select 1920X1080 or 1280X720.)

 

2. Save As Camcorder Format
This is the saving method that you can watch this movie in other Samsung camcorders too.
Choose the camcorder type that you want and click ‘Convert’.

 

3. Save As Project File
‘Project File’ means the file that still has some process to do. If you have the movie that you want to edit it later, save as this format then you can edit it again whenever you want.
Select folder that you want to save, and it’s done.

Wow. I feel like now I can make interesting movies easily with Intelli-studio.
Well, it’s done now for movie but this is not the end.

We’ve learned how to install ‘Intelli-studio’ last time. This time, let’s set the program for yourself.

Second story of Tommy and Tiky.

‘Intelli-studio’ took out complicated functions for beginners but it’s better to know some ‘Setting’ functions to use this program more effectively. I’ll tell you some important things.

 

Let’s do some ‘Setting’ by clicking ‘Menu’ on the left top.

 

First, you can choose either black or white color for ‘Skin Theme Setting’ on very top.

 

 

Now, ‘Thumbnail info. View Setting’.
Basically, ‘File Name + Time’ is for movie. It’s ‘File Name’ for photo, however, let’s see what happen when we change it to ‘File Name + Resolution’.

 

Now you can see the resolution of file beside of file name.

Oh, I see.

 

Under the ‘Thumbnail Setting’, it’s ‘New File Upload Notification Setting’.

That’s for the notification of new file uploading when camcorder and PC is connected to each other, but you can check off if you don’t like message pops up every single time.
 

When you set ‘Folder Path View Setting’ to ‘Show the entire path’, you can see this file is located in which folder easily.

 

 

Next section is ‘Update Intelli-studio’ and it is the setting for letting you know automatically when ‘Intelli-studio’ is updated.
It’s good for quick update.

Ok. 

And you can always click ‘Help’ when you have something that you don’t know.

 

When you click ‘Information’, you’ll know the present version of this program.

Well, let’s wrap up for ‘Setting’. Now you can set up the program for your own convenience. However, set up ‘Update Notification Setting’ to ‘Enable’ for better update.
