Nutrition for Brandy and Nao

Today, an introduction to the nutritious diet for Brandy and Nao.

Well… not THAT nutritious.. but.. you know… ;)

People frequently ask me what kind of nutrition I feed my cats, so I thought I’d share the information today. :->

First is omega 6.

The one I use is oil for companion animal.

It contains an ideal combination of essential fatty acid that is not usually included in general feed.

Omega 6 allows for healthy skin, shiny hair and enhanced immunity.

However, the big container and the wide mouth

Make it difficult to use in small amounts.

So, I keep a small portion in a small bottle with a dropper,

And squeeze it into my baby’s mouth once a day~

Parting the oil into smaller volumes also helps to prevent the oil from acidifying.

And make sure to keep it refrigerated after opening it! ;->

Next is probiotics.

Probiotics is a type of bacteria that lives in our intestines,

which fights and pushes out the bad bacteria that live in our intestines.

Probiotics is a must for Brandy as she has a sensitive intestine due to allergy.

Nao, being a little neat freak, doesn’t like to poop and has constipation as a result… :’-l

Probiotic is good for not only loose bowels and bloody excrement but also for constipation~ haha

And also good for cats that throw up a lot.

In addition, it doesn’t hurt to eat a lot of these good boys~~!!!!

The product that I use easily breaks only be applying a little force using the hand

As you can see here in the picture

When not mixed with other food, I simply cut it in half and put two into my cat’s throat, one at each time.

Brandy and Nao are good catw and eat without making too much of a hastle, hehehe!

Since probiotic is a living organism, freshness is critical.

So, I always keep it tightly sealed and store it in a cool place.

The product I use has a short expiration date, maybe because of freshness

So I make sure to not to forget to feed my cat everyday~

This is Omega 3. (Made of salmon oil.)

The product is capsule type, guaranteeing freshness. :)

It helps to improve the cat’s skin, fur texture, relieve skin disease and loss of fur.

On top of it, Omega 3 helps to prevent many illness such as arthritis and heart disease,

To lower the stress level, facilitates growth, provides nutrition during birth,

And helps cell regeneration and immune system.

In a nut shell, the best nutrition for cats! :)

And this is natural salmon treat dried and frozen.

Due to allergy, Brandy cannot eat snacks found in ordinary stores.

So I mostly use protein-based snacks such as beef jerky or raw meat.

Mix swordfish + tuna + cheese with a little bit of water

And a few bites of unfrozen fresh beef~

The beef looks really juicy, doesn’t it? kkkkkkkkkkk

The remainder goes into my mouth.. kkkkkkkkkkkk

Grind the probiotics into fine powder and sprinkle evenly.

And than toss some Omega 3 and Omega 6!!!!!!!!!

Mix them up before sprinkling the hashed salmon treat.

Finito!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very easy and simple! hehe

Since Omega 6 is vegetable oil, it gives out a herb-like scent.

So, to prevent the cats from smelling but not eating, I sprinkle the salmon treat on top which has a strong flavor.

Sniff sniff~ and as expected, the two eat away crazily~~

Brandy has gotten much chubbier, huh?

She’s been fed so well that she is becoming a fat (?) cat! kkkkkkk

Remember, what you are being fed is mommy’s luv, not just food!! :’->

Nao has a quite large wound on its neck but keeps scratching and makes it worse.

Using a collar will make leave Nao stressed out and scratching can worsen the wound.

So, I bought a very soft handkerchief and wrapped it around her neck. kkkkkkkkkkkkk

And it’s almost healed. Heeheehee~~

Watching them eat makes me smile with happiness.. I guess this is the so called ‘motherhood’? Haha!
However, Brandy and Nao don’t have big stomachs. (I guess that’s why they don’t gain weight!!!!!!!!!! :’-()

They usually eat only half of what I put in the bowl.

The leftover goes straight into the bin although it is too good to be thrown away.

Oil easily acidifies and probiotics also is damaged…. man!

So I usually feed the nutrition separately from the food :) haha
